Hands-down, Citymapper is the best, most comprehensive app for navigating public transit in NYC. Will consistently get you where you are looking to go in the fastest, most logical route possible.
Where do I even begin? Ive never run into a bug, can rely on it to be accurate (if not, very close to accurate), and now includes Lyft? Be still my heart. This is my favorite app, and it is (amazingly!) FREE. God Save the CityMapper Devs.
Have been using it fro three cities: London, Paris, and Brussels. The result, 100% satisfied. Its a way better than other maps especially for routing. Just, AWESOME.
This has become my go-to transit app (I live in SF, land of trains that are always delayed). I appreciate that I can save a few key routes and see recommended options with just a tap or two.
I used this app during a recent trip to NYC. I used it to plan travel from EWR to my hotel on the upper west side. From my hotel to LGA, and around town during my stay. I couldnt have done it without this app. It is great. My only suggestion for improvement: Indicate when my destination or transfer stop is across the street. Thanks.
Seriously. Every update brings new features I had never conceived of. This app is awesome.
Simply the best for transit in NY: everything you need to know to plan your trip on Citi Bike, bus, subway, ferry, tram, etc. And its all live. And theres info on delays. And you can see how many twinkies youll burn by walking. And it just works. And one-tap Uber. And Lyft. And you guys are awesome. And those release notes are really
I love this app and it keeps getting better!
Like a few other app updates lately, this one crashes upon opening.
Ive tried many such apps- this has all the best features of them together with great user experience as well- trip planning, public transportation options, real time gps bus locations, saved routes, way more.
I almost never rate apps, let alone rate them 5 stars and say they are amazing. But this one is. Get it now. And if you’re a real nerd, their Update commentary is the best, too. Thank you Citymapper.
Please fix it asap!
If you live in a large major city, this is a must-have app. I almost cant believe its free. Get it.
Thats about all you need to know. Also their release notes are amusing. This latest one is timed well.
Amazingly easy to navigate both app and cities. Updates just keep making it better and better. Live in NYC and couldnt get by without It. Rush hour train status push notifications are a lifesaver.
Only downloaded because Embark will no longer be available. No option for offline point to point directions, notifications continue even though Ive turned them off and deselected any line I previously wanted notifications for, and the interface is poorly cobbled together. Out of sheer need to I continue to use this application and I truly consider just taking a photograph of the subway line as it would be less of a hassle.
