Citymapper App Reviews

I am using this in London. Its amazing. Lets you save your favourite locations, gives you complete directions (not just station to station) and the live map for walking worked perfectly. I dont write app reviews as I cant be bothered but this one was worth the time. Better than other paid ones.

1st time users you will love it! Easy to use, guides you with many different options to anywhere you want to go, pricing the options, and basically taking you there!

Have used this app in London, Berlin and Toronto. Gives all the options you could ever want for getting around. Never feel lost. Ive changed my usual walking and transit routes in my home city as well thanks to this app. (Was invaluable during the London Tube strike!)

Boooooo....Only Vancouver , Montreal and Toronto .

There are no bus line for Vancouver

This is great if you live in a major city that they have in their options, but unlike Google, those are the only options they have like London, Vancouver, Tokyo, etc. For those who live not far even from these cities it is useless. Until it is more widespread most people will have to stick with Google maps or Apple maps if they have availability with transit in their country already.

I bet the app would be really useful if it had Ottawa.. Really? You guys forgot to include the capital of Canada?

Worse than Transit in numerous ways. Doesnt allow for trip customization like "less walking". Wont pull in address book locations. Slow interface. Yelp advertisements all throughout the app. I dont get why this thing is featured.

A really needed app! If only it had more locations like Calgary... Also I really loved the way the apps design and how fast it was! All you need now is to have a more wide selection of citites to choose from!

Im using this app here in Lisbon right now and it works great! At times it is actually more accurate and useful than Google maps and Transit doesnt even support this city. While no such app out there will be perfect, I will definitely be saving this app for my travels. FYI a little bit of common sense goes a long way. All transit apps rely on local data provided. Sometimes you just have to be the judge yourself.

This app brings all the features I love from multiple apps in to one. Especially telling me where on the subway to get on. PS in Toronto

CityMapper has replaced Transit as my top transit app.

Not really much else to say, great app!

Used this in London for a week and it was fantastic. Lots of route options and it can tell your location even without data which helps for figuring out if you are heading in the right direction. So glad a friend told us about this app!!

Im not the type of person to take transit. But in recent time I have been forced to. It would have never been possible if not for this app! I found out about this app before it had Vancouver and our lower mains land on it. And after I suggested it. It was not long before it came available to us. I feel like I should have paid for this app. It has been sooooo helpful and great. I suggest to any one who uses transit to get this app! Its amazing! Im 199% happy with this app!

Somebody is thinking about what people do when they travel -

2016-01-07 Just downloaded the app and in testing mode from a commuter train. Only two suggestions so far: 1) make it possible to modify the planned route. The app chose a destination train station that may result in shorter times but that is inconvenient in real life. Id like to choose a destination station and take a subway because it involves less walking. 2) yes I live in Quebec province. No my native language is not French. Id like an option to choose app language. Testing continues. 2016-Feb-04. Its a good app and gradually improving. I really resent having to read about new options in French. Please put in a language option, or read the language settings in the iPhone.
