Citymapper: All Live Transit App Reviews

If your city is covered by CityMapper your search for the near perfect transit app is over. It includes, but is not limited to, system overviews and scheduling info for trains, buses, ferries, trams etc. (depending on what the public transport system in your city offers) trip time calculator, route planner, maps and realtime updating of next bus/train arrival time. Of all the transit apps Ive tried in Vancouver CityPlanner is the fastest and most reliable. Downtime is not an issue - the one time I had a problem (on my end it, as it turned out) the staff answered my emails promptly and ensured everything was running smoothly. The only potential "issue" is the (over?) abundance of features, quite a few that I havent used or discovered yet, that are teetering close to the bloat line. But thats relatively minor as long as the dev team knows when to stop ;-) CityMapper is fast, reliable, has a fairly intuitive GUI and is feature rich, yet doesnt gobble up a of disk space. And customer support is excellent. Highly recommended. 5/5

Theyve added Toronto and its amazing! This app is great but it needs to be simplified. I would like to see the actual time of the bus arrival on the front page. Not just how many minutes. This app also needs offline support.

From allowing you to email your ETA in two clicks and also providing tracking, to telling you where on the platform to board your subway train and finally reminding you when to get off!

I moved to a new provence for school, and this app not only was compatible with über and with the mount of calories one would burn if walking to their destination, it helped you with simple bus and subway/metro directions which otherwise might be tricky with language barriers/ all of the other obstacles involved in moving to a new province. Very very helpful, 10/10.

Great app, wish the Apple Watch app would allow two "fast track" : Home and Work as these are obviously the 2 I use the most...

After updating to IOS10 and updating the app. I am loving the new update. The app is great. I suggest everyone who lives in Toronto should download this app for daily commute.

The city mapper app helped us to find our way about London for a week. Made using the tube easy. I loved the time estimations on how long it takes to get from A to B. This was essential to make our dinner reservations, tours and Eurostar train. Loved how it automatically switched to Paris when we arrived. We couldnt have toured Paris without it!

Love the fact that I can see live location for busses and even tweets on outages from local transport options.

So helpful, exact and easy to use.

Just downloaded the app and noticed the price of the MiWay bus is wrong. Should be $3 with presto not $2.90. Cash fare is $3.50.
